Support qualified volunteers providing essential EMS service since 1960
The Charlottesville-Albemarle Rescue Squad has been providing volunteer EMS service to our community since 1960. Our highly trained volunteers answer thousands of calls annually, collectively donating over 60,000 hours of service.
We provide free CPR, Stop the Bleed, and REVIVE training to members of the community. We dedicate hours towards critical training for vehicle extrication, water rescue, and special operations. With support from our generous donors, we maintain our fleet of ambulances and other essential life-saving equipment.
